Gal Gadot’s Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony Disrupted by Protesters, Video Shows

A video shared by Variety showed the moment security and police officers intervened as the protests grew louder. Chants and signs made it clear that Gadot’s Hollywood milestone was taking place amid heightened emotions over the ongoing Israel-Gaza conflict.

On March 18, 2025, Israeli actress Gal Gadot was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The ceremony, however, was disrupted by clashes between pro-Palestinian and pro-Israel protesters, leading to a 15-minute delay.

Protesters from both sides displayed opposing signs, and tensions escalated when a pro-Palestinian protester seized an Israeli flag, prompting police intervention. Despite the disruptions, the ceremony proceeded, with Gadot expressing gratitude to her “Wonder Woman” director Patty Jenkins and “Fast & Furious” co-star Vin Diesel. Reflecting on her journey, Gadot highlighted her Israeli roots and her transition from a small-town girl to an international actress.

Gadot has previously faced backlash for her public support of Israel, particularly during conflicts involving Gaza. She expressed surprise at the negative reactions but maintained her stance, stating she could not remain silent.

The protests coincided with reports of significant Israeli airstrikes on Gaza, adding to the event’s tension. Despite the challenges, Gadot’s recognition on the Hollywood Walk of Fame marks a significant milestone in her career.
