Over the four day span, seven Taiwanese brands will be hosting their own standalone shows between SCCP and other sites throughout the city. Among them are young brands like Chow des Homme and Hansen Atelier, as well as the more storied labels of Liyu Tsai and Yenline, giving a glimpse into the generational disparities existing within Taiwanese fashion.
Taipei Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2025 (AW25), scheduled from March 27 to 30, 2025, will spotlight sustainability under the theme “Endless Fashion.” This initiative underscores Taiwan’s commitment to eco-friendly practices in the fashion industry.Â
Opening Show: “From Life, For Life”
The event will commence with the “From Life, For Life” opening show, featuring six local designers—Claudia Wang, DYCTEAM, GIOIA PAN, oqLiq, UUIN, and WEAVISM. Each designer collaborated with Taiwan’s textile industry, receiving 100 yards of recycled fabric to craft 10-look capsule collections. They employed technologies like digital pattern-making and virtual fitting, with at least one piece made entirely from a single-component material, such as nylon or polyester.Â
Sustainable Fashion Market and Workshops
On March 30, a Sustainable Fashion Market will allow designers to sell sample pieces and off-season inventory. Second-hand clothing from fashion professionals and celebrities will also be available. Concurrent sustainability workshops aim to engage the public in rethinking consumption habits.Â
“Fashion The Next” Seminar
A seminar titled “Fashion The Next” is scheduled for March 28, featuring Jung Kuho, former executive director of Seoul Fashion Week. He will discuss key factors of South Korea’s fashion event and offer insights to young brands aiming for international markets.Â
Taipei IN Style B2B Event
Running alongside Taipei Fashion Week is the biannual B2B matchmaking event, Taipei IN Style, located at SCCP Warehouse 3. Thirty Taiwanese brands will be showcased, fostering industry networking. On March 27, educational charity Redress will host a Trend Forum centered on sustainable fashion, with executive director Nissa Cornish speaking on “Circular and Sustainable Fashion: Supporting Emerging Designers and Industry.” Alumni from the Redress program will also showcase their pieces.Â
Visual Theme: “Endless Fashion”
The “Endless Fashion” visual theme reflects a cyclical journey—from zero, back to zero—symbolizing a cycle of fashion sustainability that returns to zero waste. Young men and women dressed in sustainability-driven garments are depicted surrounded by circular symbolic objects representing different steps in the fashion production process.Â
