Sana Khan has come under scrutiny after a video featuring her with Sambhavna Seth gained widespread attention. In the video, Sana is humorously seen trying to make Sambhavna wear a burqa and a dupatta. While some viewers perceived it as an imposition of beliefs, others considered it a light-hearted interaction between friends.
Former actress Sana Khan has come under scrutiny following a recent interaction with fellow entertainer Sambhavna Seth. In a behind-the-scenes video from Sana's upcoming podcast, she is seen commenting on Sambhavna's attire, suggesting she wear a burqa or at least a dupatta during the Ramadan period.
The exchange, captured in Sambhavna's vlog, shows Sana questioning, "Ye kya pehna hai tune?" ("What are you wearing?") and further insisting, "Ek achi salwar kameez nahi hai tere paas? Ek dupatta ya kuch. Koi Sambhavna ko burkha pehnao." ("Don't you have a proper salwar kameez? A dupatta or something. Someone make Sambhavna wear a burqa.")
Sambhavna responded by explaining that due to recent weight gain, her clothes no longer fit properly, adding, "People will focus on what we say, not on our clothes. People will love us for who we are."
The video has sparked a debate on social media, with many criticizing Sana for imposing her personal beliefs on someone else. Critics labeled her behavior as "regressive," questioning her authority to dictate another's attire.
In response to the backlash, Sambhavna Seth addressed the controversy, stating, "I am a proud Hindu and can never wear a burqa." She emphasized that while she respects all religions, she maintains her personal beliefs and choices.
Sana Khan, who left the entertainment industry in 2020 to pursue a more spiritual path, has not publicly commented on the incident. The controversy has ignited discussions about personal freedom, religious expression, and the boundaries of imposing one's beliefs on others.
