He greatest inspirational speaker of all time: Les Brown.

He gave 1000s of motivational speeches in 80 countries to audiences as large as 80,000 people. He charges $200k for a speech.

30+ years ago he unlocked the science of achievement. Here's his philosophy.

Les Brown

1. Too many of us are not living our dreams because we are living our fears.

Fears are normal.

Letting them hold you back isn't.

The more you take your fears and overcome them, the faster you grow.

Limitless potential is found on the other side of fear.

2. Most people fail in life not cause they aim too high & miss, but because they aim too low and hit.

• Self-care and work-life balance have made us lazy

• Raise your standards. Want more out of life. That's how you join the top 1%

Take your 10 year plan & do it in 90 days

3. Life has no limitations, except the ones you make.

here are no rules

• The stories in your head are a lie

• You can do and be anything

See problems as opportunities. That's how you become wealthy.

4. If you run around with 9 losers pretty soon you’ll be the 10th loser.

Avoid losers at all costs.

• The people around you shape your life experience. Choose positive influences.

• Spend more time with people ahead of you than behind you And...

stay curious.

5. Live out of your imagination instead of out of your memory.

•  Imagination and creativity are how you create enormous value.

• What happened in the past likely won't happen in the future.

Spend more time on who you can become, and less time on what happened to you.

6. You are never too old to set another goal, or to dream a new dream.

• It's never too late in life to start or be extraordinary

• Stop comparing where you are with where others are.

Change your mind whenever. Embrace crazy new ideas.

7. Other people's opinion of you does not have to become your reality.

• Stop letting critics and the peanut gallery distract you.

• If a person doesn't already have what you want, ignore them.

Critics are just jealous. They want what you have.

8. The greatest revenge is massive success.

Give me an underdog with a chip on their shoulder...

Not some entitled white boy from Harvard.

If someone wronged you, make them look stupid by becoming successful.

Making a wrong a right is great motivation.

9. Wanting something is not enough.

You must hunger for it. Your motivation must be absolutely compelling in order to overcome the obstacles that will invariably come your way."

• Choose obsession instead of "wanting," passions or interests

10. If you put yourself in a position where you have to stretch outside your comfort zone, then you are forced to expand your consciousness.

• Dreams die in comfort zones

• Go beyond what feels good

• Seek out pain

Turn pain into motivation.

11. Life takes on meaning when you become motivated, set goals and charge after them in an unstoppable manner.

• No one can beat an obsessed person

• Meaning is found when you execute, not try to plan and wait to be ready

START NOW

12. Do what is easy and your life will be hard. Do what is hard and your life will become easy.

• The easy life is full of regrets/pain//failure

• Hard mode is where you find fulfillment

Don't desire your goal to be easier. Desire it to be harder to become unrecognizable

13. If you don’t program yourself, life will program you.

Program your mind with books, podcasts & newsletters

Or society will program your mind with news, politics, outrage & foreign wars that have nothing to do with you

Brainwash yourself

14. You have to be willing to allow the person you are today to DIE, So that you can give birth to the person you are meant to become.

Consider:

• Ditching old beliefs

• Quitting the 9-5 job

• Paying for coaches

• Changing your story

• Building an online empire
